Corporations support the Emergency Telecommunications Cluster (ETC) - often as part of their Corporate and Social Responsibility programmes - through partnering with WFP. The benefits for corporations include enhancing their brand image and reputation amongst their key stakeholders. The benefits for the ETC include enabling humanitarian workers to save more lives.
In addition to providing cash donations, stand-by capacity and in-kind donations, corporate partners can create unique initiatives which are in-line with their own corporate mission and objectives.
The exchange of knowledge between the ETC and corporate companies builds mutually beneficial relationships that are enriching to not only the involved organisations, but the entire humanitarian community.
Through WFP, the Vodafone Foundation is a key supporter of ETC capacity building programmes.
